Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts


Art is at the core of the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts’ vision. To assist in promotion in its new location, Mindutopia designed and developed a mobile QR code campaign in Grand Rapids. The design takes cues from the UICA’s new branding standards, and leads the people of West Michigan around 12 local hotspots to win a prize from the UICA. The campaign, which was considered a glowing success in helping the UICA promote itself as the building opened, led the UICA to further develop itself and make connections with the community.
